How to Download and Upload H5P Content in Moodle
Downloading H5P Content:
On the activity page, click Reuse, then click the Download button to download the activity as an .h5p file.
Note: If the H5P activity is embedded within another activity, this option may be unavailable depending on the setting. In such cases, please locate the original H5P activity. If it's still unavailable, you may need to contact the helpdesk for further assistance.
Once you click Download, the H5P content will be saved as an .h5p file on your device.
Important Note:
Please note that downloading the H5P content only retrieves the activity file itself. It does not transfer associated settings, such as:
- Activity Completion
- Grade Category and other specific settings
These settings must be manually configured in the new course.
Uploading H5P Content to a New Course:
- Go to the Moodle course where you wish to upload the H5P activity.
- Click Turn Editing On at the top right of the course page.
- Add the H5P Activity:
- In the section where you want to add the H5P activity, click on Add an activity or resource.
- Select H5P Interactive Content from the list.
- Click Upload, then select the .h5p file you previously downloaded from your device.
- Once you've uploaded the H5P content and configured the settings, click Save and return to course to finalize the setup.
