How do I add a YouTube playlist to my online course?

You may have multiple videos saved to a playlist that you wish to embed in your course rather than an individual video. This article will show you how to embed one in your course

Prerequisites

Sask DLC YouTube account
Permission to access the Sask DLC YouTube channel
YouTube playlist

Step 1

Step 2

Go to Playlists by...

A) Click the Sask DLC YouTube channel profile picture on the top-right

B) Click YouTube Studio

Step 3

Click Dashboard, and then Playlists

Step 4

Search for your playlist by typing the title of your playlist in the "filter" search box

Step 5

Click the Edit icon (pencil) on your playlist

Step 6

To get the embedded video code and click the Share icon

Click "Embed"

Copy the embed code. Add this code to the HTML editor in your online course.

Troubleshooting

Any YouTube playlist can be embedded with the same method
Sask DLC course videos and playlists are unlisted, so to see them you'll either need:
- A link to the video or playlist
- Access to the Sask DLC YouTube channel
