How do I create a marking guide in my online course?

1. Click on Assignment, press the gear icon, and click “Advanced Grading.”

2. Select “marking guide.”

3. Select “Define new grading form from scratch.”

4. Name your rubric, and write a description.

5. Under “marking guide”, Enter the Title of your Criteria.

6. In “Student Description”, enter your marking criteria. Sask DLC typically uses a 5-point scale for marking.

7. Press the “+” sign to add more criteria

8. Once ready, click “Save marking guide and make it ready.”
