IBC / WebEx Phone Setup
Please follow the steps below:
2. Type in the temporary password supplied, then type in a new password, repeat the new password, please do make sure to remember your new password. NOTE: Your password must be 12 characters and include the following:
- One upper case letter
- One lower case letter
- One number
- One special character
3. After successfully changing your password please sign out and then visit this link Webex for BroadWorks Activation Portal.
Type in YourNumber@ibc.sasktel.com as your User ID, type in your password(remember the password from Step 2) and follow the instructions to validate your account.
You would be prompted to enter your email, please enter your work email firstname.lastname@saskdlc.ca. This step is important!
4. Check your mail box for the validation email and click the validation button. Your email would validate and a page asking you to download the Webex app would appear. You can ignore this if you already have Webex installed on your computer. A shortcut icon for Webex would be on your desktop or you may have it pinned to your taskbar.
However, if you can't find Webex, and you are working with a Sask DLC issued device, you can search for the Company Portal App on your device, and download and install Webex from there.

Alternatively, download Webex for Windows 64 bit (download link is on the page confirming validation of your email) and proceed to install. Link to download Webex can also be found here https://www.webex.com/downloads.html. Please, Note on a Sask DLC issued device you would only be able to install Webex from the Company Portal without IT assistance.
5. Now go to the Webex application installed on your computer, you can double click on the desktop icon to open the Webex app (Please Note: Sometimes the app may open weird if you have your device connected to your monitors, to fix this, hover your mouse at the visible edge of the app as if to expand and that should resize the app).
6. Enter your work email (
firstname.lastname@saskdlc.ca) on the first prompt, then enter
YourNumber@ibc.sasktel.com and the password(again
remember the password from Step 2).
7. You would be signed in and be ready to make calls.
